I'm planning on gluing 4 X 8 sheets of 1/2 inch bamboo plywood together to make a 1 inch kitchen countertop. What type of glue should I use? I have read that "moisture cure urethane adhesive" is the one to use (I believe Gorilla Glue is this sort of adhesive).
The bamboo plywood comes from Lumber Liquidators in Atlanta, GA area and is selling for $50/sheet. They don't have 3/4 inch, so that's why I would glue two 1/2 inch sheets together. Is that even feasible? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

Need lots of clamps with polyuretane glue - the stuff expands and foams as it cures. Sticks real well, though.
