I have a fairly new (1 year old) Hotpoint 4 burner range-top/oven. No ignition at 2 of the 4 burners, and see an arcing inside, under the grill, of the ignition wire to ground...manual says to just grasp the front and prey open, but I'm stuck...there must be a trick. Ideas on what to do after I find the trick would also be greatly appreciated!

All of them I've ever seen you just lift the front of the top - no fasteners involved.
