Unfortunately we had an aquarium on an oak counter top in our study and didn't notice for a couple of weeks that it leaked.
I sanded the warped damaged area and re-stained, etc but the "ring" outline of the aquarium is still very visible as it appears much lighter (almost white) compared to the surrounding area. I even sanded again, used some wood bleach on the ring area and re-stained but still no luck.
Any ideas? Appreciate any help!
