I am thinking about removing my old kitchen cabinet doors and replacing them with lift-up type of doors. I am unable to locate hinges which allow for this and would be able to take the load of a wooden cabinet door and hold it in place. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Try www.rocklers.com. They have hinges for just about any use you can think of. Their catalog number 66621 is for overhead bins, and may be what you are looking for.
