ok what i got is an early 90,s model MTD.. It has a 14 horse I/C briggs & stratton on it...The motor runs great actually wonderful...I bought a Poulan Pro 19.5 horse to mow with so i just want to use the other mower to mess around with....Ive been told i could get up to 45 just switchin the pulleys out.....It has the forward - neutral - reverse in between your legs and the tranny speeds on the right fender.. can anyone shed some light on this

I can imagine a lot of dreadful things that could happen to someone driving a mower at 45... :eek:
