I am in the process of finishing my basement. I'll be installing 6 panel clear pine wood doors that I plan on staining with clear stain.
The utility room requires a fire rated door, and the only doors I've seen that are 6 panel are not wood. I am considering painting the doors with a faux finish to try to create the look of the clear stain that will be achieved on the other doors.
Has anyone done this sort of thing? Any direction or advice is appreciated.
