HI
I lost my remote control and now I can't seem to get my tv to change channels by using the buttons on the top of the tv. Is using the remote the only way to change channels? If it is why would they bother putting controls on the tv ? I tried 2 universal remotes but could not get them to work.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Some TV's have a button lockout so children don't mess with them.
I've never even heard of a Curtis TV so I can't give you any advice on that, other then if the universal remotes do not work you may have to get the OEM remote through the manufacturer.
