Anyone have any info on the Lincoln Aviator?? My wife wants a new SUV. I know gas prices!! We live close to everything and the farthest we travel is to see my parents 30mi away. We have a Durango now that gets about 18mpg highway!! Anyone who knows anything let me know. We would be buying a used one b/c they don't make them anymore b/c of the demand for them. She likes the navigator to but that is too big and we don't need something that big. Thanks

Wouldn't be on my top ten list of vehicles to own. Consumer Reports lists it as one of the "vehicles to avoid" (aka "bad bets"). If I was going to buy an suv (not in THIS lifetime, of course :D ), it would be a Toyota.

In the most recent model year the Aviator rated below average in drive system and electrical system.
