I have a number of ceiling fixtures that have lables warning to not use bulbs over 60 watts.
The rooms are still dark and I would like to use 23 watt CPLs (100 watt equivalents) - anyone see an issue with this?

You may safely use the 23 watt CFL bulbs. Just make sure that if a dimmer is involved that you use a dimmable CFL bulb.
