I have an older N16 framingnailer that the driver is sticking out of the bottom of the gun about 3/4". It will not go back
into the gun manually or by tapping with a hammer.

Is it worth fixing? What all might be wrong??

The driver could be bent or corroded. The piston could be stuck.

Open the front of the nailer and release the tension, and lubricate the slide. Sometimes nail fragments will get caught in the channel and cause it to stick.
