Our 250cc ATV kept stalling out so we replaced the carburetor. It has an electric choke. After installing it , the quad started and ran good. This morning it would not start right away and we kept trying until it finally started but it stalls. Yesterday the temp was 45 degrees, this morning the temp was 30 degrees. Anyone , know what could be causing this stalling problem?:wall:

Does it run well after it has warmed up? If so, that sounds like a choke problem.

I do not think i know what the problem is but i do know that it is a good idea to turn off the gas lever on the carb after using it . some times it causes it to flood if it is left open.

the carb will only flood with valve left on it needle and or seat are bad. Do you have water in the gas? It might be close to freezing causing hard start. Could also be choke issue.

Old gas? Dirty gas? Bad coil?
