I have a samsung SIR-S300w/S310w Directv remote that I would like to use with my new Sony SLVD380P dvd/vcr combo. I tried all the sony codes in the directv manual and the scan or search mode but it still does not work.
Does anyone know the code number I need?
Is it possible to enter 4 digit codes in this remote?

If you tried scanning both DVD and VCR codes, it is likely that remote doesn't have them.
