A Bock? Never heard of it. Gas? Electric? Powervented. Control board? Simply a manual reset button on a thermostat? - ??
Post should have been in water heater forum.

Is this a water heater? A boiler? Or one of those combination water heater/boilers? And when you say the burner is "on", what do you mean by "on"; as in is it fired up, or do you mean you have it set to "on", but nothing is happening - no fire?

no they are seperate. The burner or furnace fires up or kicks on and heats the house. the water heater does not. i don't know where anything is on the water heater. I am duh when it comes to all this..sorry.
