I am remodling my kitchen and want to make my cabinets from scratch. I have lots of help with getting sizing and design but we dont know how to get the right color for the cabinets. I went to Home Depo and like the antique look on the Irish Cream Glaze cabinets and others like that but I dont know how to go about duplicating that. Do i paint them first and then apply a stain and water glaze? Or am I off completely.
