Hello All,

I tried to turn on my Lennox gas furnace last night and I got nothing.

In the past, I've replaced the thermocouple, the transformer and last year had the gas valve replaced - but I would consider myself a novice. Here's what I know....

The pilot is lit

I've replaced the batteries on the digital thermostat - nothing

I've replaced the fuse on the circuit breaker - nothing

The blower DOES work when I switch the thermostat to FAN

The AC works as well

It's as if the furnace isn't getting the signal from the thermostat that I want heat.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Its getting cold!!

Expose thermostat wires at thermostat, jump red and white wires. If thermostat is the problem the burners will come on

The white wire had broken contact from the panel inside of the furnace (the place inside of the furnace where the RWGY screws are - i don't know what it's called). It was the only one that had broken contact - that's why everything else was working. Your advice pointed me in the right direction. I have heat now. Thank you.
