We bought some Valspar Tuscan Accents yesterday at a big box.

Background: We previously gutted a bathroom and are paint. The new drywall and ceiling is smooth. We planned originally to keep the paint scheme simple as were are going for a country look.

I will be spraying a knockdown texture today on some extra drywall so that we can see what the combination looks like. Has anyone tried this? Does it look good? Any special or different techniques?

This is how the test piece turned out. We placed it (and moved it floor to ceiling) in the bathroom to see what it would look like in there. The knockdown isnt as big as our main living areas, but it blends with the rest of the house.
