I recently purchased a used 2003 EZ GO gas golf cart and it is now exhibiting some strange behavior. The first thing in the morning when I get in the cart I pull out the choke and depress the gas pedal but the cart does not move. It takes anywhere from 10-30 seconds before it starts to move forward or backward. The engine turns on immediately but cart does not go. Once the cart starts moving then it is usually good for the day. Is this normal behavior? The second thing I notice is that anytime I put my foot on the gas pedal, the oil pressure light comes on but once the cart starts moving it goes off. Is this normal behavior for EZ GO golf carts? Can anybody identify what could be wrong?

The starting thing sounds like an
ajustment of the valves mite be in order.
