I have a dilema as my kitchen cabinets are as close as I can figure called "Champagne" which means they have a pinkish tint. I am trying to repaint my kitchen and can not choose a color that looks right. I would like something that would deminish the pink tint " any suggestions"

If you want a wholesale change you can paint em. Otherwise use stain. If the surface is not sealed it'll be easy for the stain to soak in. Obviously, you'll want to try it out first in an inconspicuous area to gauge the effect.

Make sure you look at the cabinets AND paint colors together under the same lighting you have in your kitchen, and look at different parts of the day. For example I painted our pantry a beige-y color, but discovered that later in the day it's an orange tinge and early in the day is more butter-cream. The color that fits may surprise you...

Champagne is a soft neutral color. It pairs well with tan and accents in cinnamon, sage and pale yellow. As indicated, paints can have deceiving undertones when seen in different lighting.
