I have verticals covering my 6 ft slider and would like to turn them into sheer verticals. Does anyone have directions on how to cover verticals with sheer fabric?
Thanks

They sell "wraps" for verticals that just slide over the vanes like a slipcover, which you might want to consider instead of making them yourself. Not sure where to buy them retail, but you might want to contact those blind places (like JustBlinds or places like that) to see if they can sell them to you.
Have never made them and it seems it would be an enormous amount of tedious work, but if you want to try them yourself, I guess I'd just sew a tube and turn right side out, wide enough to slide over the vanes without being baggy and hemmed top and bottom. There's a snap that goes at the top to hold the cover on, but I don't know where you would get them.
The other method you could try is to buy pressure sensitive tape and put the sheer on that, then press it on each vane. I would put the sheer on first, then cut to size, being very careful to cut perfectly straight and maybe put a little "Fray Check" around the edges to keep the fabric from fraying.
