I installed standard halogen recessed lighting in my bathroom above our sink and I was wondering if I should have installed special "waterproof" ones instead of the standard ones. They don't get any direct water on them by any means, but I was wondering if the moisture from a shower will affect them.

Everytime we take a shower, we of course have the fan on and window cracked, but I notice the mist hanging around the recessed lights for a bit before it clears. Is this ok?

Nothing special required for bathroom lights that are not above a tub or shower. You're good.
