does anyone know how to erase rust stains on cultured marble? I have even tried sanding lightly but it didn't work.

Zud and BarKeeper's Friend contain rust remover. These powdered cleansers are nonabrasive. Wet stains, apply powder, rub lightly with damp sponge or cloth and let set to dissolve rust. Whink, a liquid, is another popular rust remover. Check your cleaning and plumbing aisles for other options. Giving cleaner time to dissolve rust stains is important. Always use nonabrasive cleaners on cultured marble in order to prevent scratching the gel coat. After cleaning, keep cultured marble sealed with a couple coats of auto wax for protection.
