We'll need to know how many and what kind of inputs the TV has. Got the model number?

Also, do you have cable or satellite?

The audio shouldn't be a problem. You'll be using the receiver to listen to the DVD, VCR, and cassette. Each has a connection from its outputs to the inputs on the rear of the receiver. Do them one at a time. If the DVD has a digital output, plug it in to the digital input of the receiver. The cassette also has input (a.k.a. "Record") connections that will connect to the "Tape Out" of the receiver. The VCR also has inputs that will connect to the "Video Out" of the receiver (if it has one).

If you're not familiar with the connectors and cables you'll be using, read the A/V Cables & Connectors FAQ (http://forum.doityourself.com/showthread.php?t=320149). Click the link or find it at the top of this forum's index page.
