We have a 60", double sink vanity that has what appears to be a plastic or laminate top. It's 27 years old if that helps.
The color is white and I was wondering if there's a polish or ??? that I can use to improve the finish.

Plastic Laminate ("formica") can't really be polished.
After 27 years its probably time to replace your top.
61 x 22 is a standard size, and you have a lot of choices
You could use cultured marble (its only cultured because it listens to Beethoven) You could use laminate again,
You could use granite, or Corian or Engineered Stone.
Heck the choices are endless.

I suspected as much, but was hoping for a miracle.:D
Thanks for confirming, though. My wife doesn't think it looks bad at all, so I guess we'll keep it and just replace the old fixtures.
Cheers!

An application of auto wax might perk up old plastic laminate.
