Welcome to the forums! Can you advance the chain by hand? If not, it has probably jumped off the drive gear, or bound it by landing on top of a gear. Remove the cover plate and see what you can see. If you can advance the chain by hand, and the motor runs, but the chain won't turn, the clutch may have gone south. Fairly easy to replace. Let us know what's up.

If you take the side cover off, you will see where the chain wraps around a centrifugal clutch which is about 2 1/2"-3" in diameter. The faster the engine spins it, the clutch moves outward toward the exterior. When it contacts the outside of the bell, it turns the sprocket, and thereby moves the chain. When you release the trigger and the saw goes back to idle, the clutch ceases to turn and so does the chain. Now you are in the guts of the saw, so you can see what is and what is not working. Report back.

Make sure the emergency chain brake is not engaged.
Proper chain tension will prevent the chain from hanging on the sprocket cogs. When chain tension is right, you should be able to see the bottom of one tooth on the chain when it is lifted at the center of the bar.
