I have to re[place some door and window trim in my kitchen thanks to damage done by my dog.
Is it possible to get stain mixed at a paint store to match the existing trim stain.
The trim is pine stained in an oak finish.
I don't want to spend a fortune buying stains and mixing myself and then getting the wrong match .
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Yeah - take some of the existing trim to a paint store (not a paint department) and they should be able to match it for you.

It would also be a good idea to bring a scrap piece of raw trim so they can custom tint the stain to the wood being used - not all wood stains the same.
