I am stumped! We live in a 1970's "converted" modular/dbl wide that has been set on a foundation, sided & basically had a roof built over top of it (whatever).

I am amazed but the kitchen cabinets are original (they were awful black brown when we moved in, we have since painted and done some minor upgrading) Anyway the cabinet doors are wood and the shelves, etc. Not fancy but wood. The drawers however are plastic as are the slides, etc. that still remain. They have been coddled along evidently but are finally giving up the ghost.

I cannot financially do some "big thing" here. What I would like to do is take the drawer front & have a new drawer built onto it. Who do I take it to? Are the plastic replacement drawers still available?? (not too interested in doing that). Would I approach a custom cabinet maker (did see someone's truck advertising that in our local grocery parking lot tonight). There are only 4 drawers total in my kitchen. I really appreciate any replies and tips you might have for me! Thanks!!!

A cabinetmaker or carpenter can build the new drawer boxes and attach the old drawer fronts to the new boxes. You will likely have to attach and install new drawer glides. Most mom and pop kitchen dealers can order glides if you can not find them. They usually know someone who can build the boxes.
