Noticed small black particles inside glasses and general poor washing job this machines has been doing.

The back of the tub is filled with a murky water w/ black chuncks. I'm guessing mold. I took the 1/4" bolts off the "screen" to get a better look and found a piece to my son's baby bottle in there. But couldn't feel anything else.

Ran the diswasher (didn't put screen back on) with some 1/4 cup of bleach and it started foaming like I put hand soap in there. I'm letting the element cool right now so I don't know how much mold is still there. But everything seems to be working ok (water levels, drainage, etc)

This unit is only 4 years old and has always been pretty loud.
Any ideas where the mold (if that's what it is) is coming from?
Water temp too low? Where are the suds coming from with just clorox bleach? My wife does use those goofy electrsol gel packs that you don't have to take out of plastic.

Get 2 1-gallon bottles of plain vinegar. Start the dishwasher on normal cycle. It will start with the drain cycle, then the fill cycle. As soon as the initial drain cycle is done and before the fill cycle begins, open the door and dump a gallon of vinegar in the tub. Close the door and let the entire cycle finish. Repeat with the second gallon. This will hopefully clean the dishwasher.

Is there any water in the tub after a full cycle? Do you have an airgap installed at the sink (http://www.appliancepartspros.com/c/airgap.gif)?

No water after a cycle. Wife reports that sometimes water leaks from bottom.
Vinegar worked pretty good to clean inside.
No airgap installed

When is the best time to take temp of water. I'm having a problem getting a reading over 100.
