I have an SMI7056UC/14 Bosch Dishwasher that is about 10 years old. You select a cycle by pressing a button (similar to the old car radio buttons). An orange or green plastic indicator then appears in a window above the button to show which cycle was selected. My problem is that all cycles are showing as selected. When you select a cycle, the machine is supposed to get the plastic indicator out of the window for the previously selected cycle. It is not.
Any ideas?
Do the plastic indicators deform over time? Do the springs deform over time? I tried bending one spring to get greatr tension, but did not see any impact.
Thanks,
Joe
