My husband decided to dye a pair of jeans black in the laundry sink. The sink is now two-tone, half dark grey, half white. We have tried a number of things from thinners to commercial clothes dye removing sachets, and it has faded a little. I don't think you can get it out, but do you think it can be re-dyed? If so, what would we use and where would we get it. If you can't re-dye, can you repaint and what sort of paint would you use. If anyone can help it would be most appreciated. We live in a rental and have an inspection at the end of this week! Thanks :)

I got stains out of one once with regular household bleach. They weren't caused by dye, but I would think it should work. Bleach will take the dye out of carpet so why not out of a plastic sink?
