I have thousands of small white plastic garden markers I have used over the years for my seed-starting cells, using black Sharpie pens to mark them. Does anyone have a suggestion for some kind of cleaning solution I couild soak them in that will remove the ink without causing the plastic to disintegrate? It's not practible time-wise to clean them by hand with sandpaper. Your suggestions would be well-appreciated.

sometimes plastic can be porous...thus the permanent marker may have been soaked into the plastic..

i think the time that it would take to clean these may outweight the replacement cost
