So, I put up a real pumpkin on our cement mantle, and it totally rotted and melted, leaving icky pumpkin goo all over, and now the whole room reeks of rotted pumpkin. I've tried vinegar and baking soda on it...still stinky. Ideas?

If you used vinegar, you have probably eteched the limestone contents of concrete with the acidic vinegar.
To deodorize, saturate with enzyme digester cleaner.
