I've got a Frigidaire dishwasher, model # FDBC56BAS1.

Within the last several months, we've been noticing that the dishes frequently come out dirtier than they went in. I did some searches in this forum and began troubleshooting. I've cleaned out the filters at the bottom and ran several cycles with vinegar. This did help clean things up inside the dishwasher quite abit. However, the dishes still come out not very clean...in particular the upper rack. I've been able to run the washer with the door open and I see that the lower spray arm rotates correctly. However, when I trip the cycle so that the upper nozzle turns on, water comes out of the upper nozzle, but the arm does not spin at all. The pressure seems to be similar to that of the lower nozzle. I've cleared out any obstructions in the upper arm, but it still won't spin. I'm about ready to buy a new dishwasher because running this one the way it currently works is pointless. Can anyone suggest any thing that would get that upper spray arm working correctly so I can save myself the $500???
