Doors and Windows - American Craftsman windows

I know this has been asked before and I did do a search. However, I need to ask this question again.


I'm getting ready to build a house and am picking out windows. I'm looking at the American Craftsman windows from HD. I know they are not a top of the line window but they are better than many windows I've seen. I would purchase the series 3000 window with LoE glass and 7/8 inch thick glass. They are also double hung.


If you don't recommend this window, then what window for a similar price?

You are building a house and you question the quality of the windows you are installing?? They should last a lifetime, how often do you want to replace windows??? This should not even be a question. Install the best windows that are available!!! You will save in the long run.
