We are looking for recommendations on stackable units. We had the rough-in done off our master BR on the 2nd floor of our home. Really looking for something that's not going to shake the daylights out of our 110+ year old home.
We didn't think about reinforcing the floor at the time, so this will be going on the original floor joists with hardwood floors on top (2 x 10 joists).
I know the front-loaders spin at really high speeds. Would we be better off with one of the top-loading units (less vibration)? I know capacity would be less, but really this unit will be used for the day-to-day clothes. We will continue to have a washer/dryer in our basement (2 floors down) for larger items.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
