Hi,
My nephew scratched my kitchen table top with a knife. It did not go all the way through to the wood, but is visible on the surface. What is the best way to repair this?

various hard woods pressed together with an endurance finish

It looks like a wood top - sanding would be the best option, IMO. You'll have to refinish afterward. If the top is veneer, you'll sand right through it.
