I have a kitchen Aid gas stove. The touch panel console is broken and I was told that it would cost me around $260 just for the part.
Is there a way I can get the part cheaper? or somebody to do custom .It is just a piece of glass as the actual electrical circuit underneath is working fine.

Secondly how to replace it myself?
