First off thanks in advance for the help. I have a whirlpool fridge that the ice makeer does not fill with water. If I fill it manually it works fine. I have fed power directly to the solenoid and it works fine. I have also replaced the ice maker unit. Can you please tell me how to test the portion of the icemaker that "kicks the solenoid"
Thanks again
Bob

When you fed power directly to the solenoid, did you have the tubing hooked up to fill the ice maker? If so, did it fill the ice maker?
Check your fill tube to see if it is clogged with ice.
I believe there is a way to short two pins on the ice maker module to send power to the fill valve, but I am not sure which two. Maybe someone can chime in and let us know.
