I was watching a home show last night "Holmes on Homes" and I got nervous about adequate ventilation and insulation matters. I live in North Jersey in a 65year old home. I have rehab the entire home myself. My concern is I have raised the ceiling to the roof rafters in 1 room sizing 10x12. The ceiling height was originally 8 feet now the ceiling height is 10 ft to 14ft. As you can tell the rooftop is slanted and there is a small attic with a vent that I can access through the hallway allthough nolonger in the room of concern. The ceiling is insulated with paperback R-30 if my memory seves me right. The question is will I get any moisture that will lead to mold since I removed the attic in the room 12 x 10. Thank you in advance.
