Is it possilbe to do this job without stripping? I have varnished wood cupboards and I want to paint them white. Someone told me you could do this by applying polyurathane over the finish and then painting. I want to know if this will work before I do all the work! Also, I assume I need a glossy oil based white paint. What is the highest quality paint that I can buy so that I can avoid as much dirt from sticking as possible when they are used? Also, what is the best way to clean the wood before getting started? Learning about this is just giving me more questions :) Thanks for your help!!!!
