I have some blown in insulation which I would like to get out of my attic and replace with batt insulation. Any suggestions on how to take out?

What kind of blown-in insulation is it? Its going to be a pain to remove it. Either shovel it out or grab a shop vac(a big one) and vacuum it out then empty it into bags.

I would suggest you replace it with cellulose insulation though and not fiberglass. It will give you a higher R-value, do a MUCH better job sealing air leaks and hold in the heat. You can go to cellulose.org to get info about it.

If old insulation has not gotten wet or contaminated from animal infestation, why not simply add new insulation over old. This would save you time and labor as well as the messy job of removal of old insulation.
