Hey does anyone out there have or know where I can get a head for my Sanborn 2H.P. compressor. The Model number is 104A200-22. Its an old one and I went to there site to find that they no longer :wall: sell that head. I have been looking around on the internet to find one but thought maybe a forum like yours could possibly work. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

even if you find a new head, it probably won't be cost effective to replace it. I'd spring for a new pump, there's plenty around to be had for less than $200.

Not sure how much work you are prepared to do.
If you are unable to find the exact replacement you could likely find a jobber pump (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=9592) and make it fit the base.
You might have to replace the motor end pulley and re-pipe the discharge air line..

You can get compressors for not too much money these days but if you replace what you have keep in mind that the belt drive oil filled one you have is a much better style than the direct drive ones.

Harbor Freight has some pumps for around $100
Are they any good ?
I do not know.
I do know that the el-cheapo direct drive set up is not cost effective..I am trying to be kind.
The better the quality of an item - the more parts will be available..
I think this is true..
