I am helping a friend retrofit a tecumseh ohv175 motor into a troy bilt ctx 1842 mower, if anyone has any info as to the wiring of the tecumseh motor (i.e. regulator and ignition wiring) it would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

Not all 17 1/2 Tecumseh's have the same wiring configuration. Post back with the model and specification numbers off the new engine as well as the numbers off the original engine.
