A few weeks ago I serched for threads on slugs. I found posts that claimed slugs like beer. One poster stated he put beer in pie plates and the slugs went in and drowned. I tried it and it works. I can't find the thread or posts, Thanks to the posters for the info.

I'm so glad that was helpful for you and really appreciate you letting us know. We don't always get feedback on the advice we give so it's nice to know that something is helpful. There are other organic steps you can take to get rid of slugs.

Thanks for the link. I read some of it,but the beer in shallow plates works great. I think everyone that gets advice that works should let others know that they are glad that someone took their time to help. I love this site. I now reserch any odd jobs for tips and advice. Thanks again all.
