I have pc 5010 (DC Power 832) connected to monitoring station via an analog phone line. It has stopped communicating a few days ago. I have done a cold start, and reversed Tip and ring wires no change. It is programmed for pulse dialing.
Can you please help?

Assuming no programming changes have been made, have you checked to see if there is a dial tone?

There is a dial tone. Will it make a difference, change to DTMF dialing?
Thanks.
Thanks.

DTMF (touchtone) is probably the better choice. Some Telco providers are getting to where their systems have trouble with pulse dialing, and many of the digital/voip phones don't support pulse at all.
If you have access to a butt set, you could listen in and hear what happens when the panel tries to connect.

DTMF dialing worked. Thanks.
