I just regrouted the joint between the tile wall and tile floor in the shower. Should I use a sealant on the joint or is it better left to "breathe"?

Not a pro but I usually caulk seams between tile corners and the joint between the wall and floor. That way if there is any movement the joint is less likely to crack.

The area you describe will see lots of water so I would seal it.

Yes seal it. That joint should be caulked, not grouted. If the grout cracks in the future, remove it and replace it with caulk. Dont try to regrout it, as it will only crack again.:)

My husband and I just laid new granite flooring in our bathroom. We also went up partially on the walls for backsplash and also did a complete granite shower. We bought a "dupont" sealer/finisher. It caused terriable strieking and looks really bad. Is there any kind of product made that will remove the sealant, so that we can start over?

Try acetone. Then re-seal and remove excess quickly. Good luck

Yes, seal, but wait at least 30 days for grout to fully cure.

Contact Dupont, tell them what product you used on the granite, and ask them what you should use to remove it.:)

Exactly what sealer did you use? Did it say it was for use with granite? Did you follow the application instructions exactly?:)
