This has been one great mower!! 10 years old with only minor tune-ups and oil changes.
The transmission is now adjusted to the max and all I'm getting is jerking. The belt is very tight.
Does anybody know if this unit has an oil supply and if so, how it is accessed?
Anyone ever done a re-build?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

  Sounds like ether the gears behind the drive wheels is dirty or the teeth on them is just wore out.
Don't remember if it has a plug covering a hole to put a few pumps of grease into or you have to seperate the two halfs of the transmission.
BUT SOME BODY HERE WILL KNOW FOR SURE,KEEP CHECKING BACK ON YOUR POST TO SEE OTHER REPLYS.
Good luck

Thanks for the quick reply.
I replaced the rear wheels 2 years ago. I'll check those gears today.
