I'm having a problem with 95 yamaha 600fzr.(stock)
It will start but runs bad won't idel.:confused:
could it be airfilter cloged jett

The clogged jet is the most common thing to cause it. You have a power and idle circuit with dedicated jets in each. The idle jet is probably plugged. They usually plug first because they are smaller and a lower volume of fuel goes through them.

You can clean them by dismantling the carb, naturally, but you can also shut off the fuel at the tank, pull the drain plug on the bowl and drain the fuel out. Then fill the bowl with carb cleaner and let it sit for an hour. That may clean the jet enough to start fuel through it. Then the carb cleaner will finish the cleaning of it.
