I removed old cabinets, installed tile throughout kitchen, and now I am about ready to install cabinets.
My question is the plumbing. The water line coming in from the wall appears to be a grey plastic tube coming out of the wall (copper crimp ring??????) with a ring that seems to attach the tube to a copper elbow to the valve.
I have the valve off, but need remove all but the incoming single line so I can drill a small hole in the cabinets for the water line and drain pipe.
Any advice on what type of material/fittings are used and how I can remove/replace them?
Many thanks!@

any chance this is in a modular/mobile/manufactured home? sounds like you have qest polybutalyne tubing. honestly, unless you're willing to open the drywall and cut out a fair amount of the tubing, you may be better off just making larger holes in the back of your cabinet. i know this isn't the best way to go about it but there really isn't a great way to transition from the qest pipe to anyting else. the only fittings i'd use are called "sharkbite" fittings and are of a push on style. the fitting is still able to spin on the tubing so if you're adding shut off vavles to the stub-outs, when you go to turn the valve off the entire thing will spin.
