had several overspray spots on a floor which had been acid stained. Tried goof-off (works but no better than dishwashing soap) also tried TSP which seemed to continue to eat away at the concrete, probably did not rinse well enough. Is there a mircle cure which will remove the paint but not affect the concrete? (acid stain)

Oops! works for removing latex paint off oil based, but I'm not sure what effect on concrete.

I'd be suprised if oops worked any better than goof off but it's possible. Often the best method is gently scraping off the paint drips/splatters with a putty knife or sometimes even your finger nail.

opps and goof off are pretty closely related i think..both have xylene in them...from what i remember..

i would go with the gently scraping..if you get a sharp fresh blade..most of the time it will take it right off without maring the floor

most people make the mistake of using old blades that get chipped and dig into the floor..usually one night or less for my blades

Try a high pressure washer.
