Doors and Windows - Double Door w/ broken latch pin

I have a double exterior door that opens in the middle. One of the doors is secured by latch pins that slide into the upper and lower door frame. The other half of the door opens with a standard door knob. The pin part of the latch pin that slides into the bottom of the door frame has broken off the slide mechanism which leaves the door unsecured. The mechanism is brass and is about 6 3/4" long. The pin part is about 1 1/2" long. Can you suggest a source for a new one of these mechanisms? The only identification on the mechanism is a brand that has a globe and the word "Worldwide" printed across the globe. Also, what is the correct name for this type of mechanism? Thanks for your help.

"manual flush bolt" - or just "flush bolt". Many sources: door shop, locksmith, better hardware stores, online retailers. Not sure, but, I think the insignia belongs to manufacturer in Taiwan.

Standard or Corner prep?
In a corner prep the top and/or bottom corners of the door are hogged out to form a pocket. The body of the corresponding flush bolt is L shaped. It's easily removed by removing the screws on front and bottom faces.

In a standard prep the a pocket for the flush bolt body is on the face of the door style above the corner. A hole is bored for the bolt, and a bolt guide is affixed too the the top or bottom rail. The guide sits in line with the strike plate. Remove this flush bolt by removing the screws on the face.

“Usually” the bolt is threaded into the body. If your bolt is replaceable, a locksmith may have a replacement or one that can be interchanged. Otherwise, take it with you for comparison.
